Jill Tregler, LCPC
I use a relational, person-centered approach to work with individuals 18 and older. I specialize in Mood Disorders, Eating disorders, trauma, body acceptance and Unhelpful overcontrol (utilizing RO DBT).
ABOUT JILLI approach my therapeutic work as my genuine self, incorporating humor, compassionate directness, unconditional acceptance, and sometimes a little foul language, to build rapport and help clients move toward their identified goals. I recognize societal and other life-factors that impact/influence each individual, gaining understanding of each person’s unique framework for moving through the world. I work hard to be aware of my own privilege(s), that my perspective is my own, and as such am continuously open to feedback and seeking to learn. I believe a diagnosis defines a constellation of symptoms, it does not define a person. I also value and welcome feedback in order to provide the best possible clinical care - and it's a beautiful place to practice self-advocacy.
I have worked in a number of environments and am excited to get to bring these experiences and skills to the outpatient setting. I have worked in higher levels of care participating in crisis intervention, addiction as a primary concern, eating disorder as a primary concern, and mood/anxiety/trauma as primary. These multiple experiences have allowed me to develop a unique and varied skillset.
NUTS & BOLTSI utilize CBT, DBT, RO DBT, CPT, and a splash of ACT to address addiction, disordered eating including binge eating disorder, body image/acceptance, trauma, mood disorders and OCD. I am experienced in supporting clients at higher levels of care, those with autism and ADHD, & the queer community. Sex positive, fat positive, body acceptance/neutral, and LGBTQIA+
I see clients 18 and older individually via telehealth. I am in network with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, accept self-pay, and can provide a SuperBill.
I encourage you to reach out for a 15-20 minute video consultation and we can see if we might be a good fit. I believe each person deserves a good "fit" with their therapist and a brief consultation can help you make that determination.
